IT'S TIME FOR A SECOND EDITION OF THE 500 PHOTOGRAPHERS T-SHIRT AND YOU CAN BE THE DESIGNER.

What am I looking for?:
I'm looking for an original "tattoo-style" design that will be printed on black t-shirts in a limited edition of 100. It needs to have a reference to the number 500 but can include lot's of other things from skulls to pretty flowers to vintage cameras. It needs to be "bad-ass", original and creative! I'd like a fairly large design for the back of the t-shirt and a small one for the front (optional) that might be placed on a front pouch.
Are there restrictions?:
Yes, you are only allowed to use a maximum of 2 colors as we are printing at an expensive but high quality screen printer and still want the t-shirts to be affordable. You also have to be able to deliver the images (once chosen) in the correct print format: either .eps, .ai or .cdr. in the correct resolution.
What will you get in return?:
You will get 2 t-shirts with your own design in the sizes you wish, a collection of photography books including Backflashes: Graffity Tales by Ruedione and Emek ...the thinking man's poster artist...
Your name and website will be mentioned on this website, the facebook page and the certificates of authentification that comes with the t-shirts.
All designs will be posted on facebook with your name and website on the 500 Photographers facebook page.
When is the deadline?:
We're working fast, so the deadline for your examples is SATURDAY JUNE 2ND 2012.

are the criteria?
Make sure the
photographers are still alive and active in the field of photography. Make sure
that they are not already featured on this website. Add their websites
and surprise me. The best list to my opinion wins.
Until
when can I submit my list?
This
competition will end on Sunday January 1st 2012. That will be the last day to submit your list. On Monday January 30, 2012 we will publish the winner right here.
Can I
submit more than one list, can I submit more than 3 photographers?
Yes you can,
you can either make several lists and send them as individual lists from the same e-mail account or you can put them in the same e-mail making your list longer than 3 photographers.
What do
I win?

First Limited Edition T-shirt Competition
Buyers of the first limited edition 500 Photographers T-shirt were able to enter the photography competition and possibly win a copy of the next edition. Several people entered and a winner has been chosen. All images were wonderful and it was a pleasure to see how various people approached the object in different ways.
The winning image is a man running in an open field with the sun slowly going down. It is an uplifting photograph full of movement and freedom. Strong in its simplicity. Congratulations to Jasper Hof.

Name 5 amazing photographers
Before we tell you who won the competition we want to thank all the people that entered the competition. To enter this competition you had to make a list of 5 amazing photographers. The list that surprised us the most would win. We got an overwhelming number of e-mails with absolutely amazing lists and it was getting harder and harder to choose who would win. Some of the suggestions from the competition have already been featured on 500 photographers, but in the near future a lot more will make the list, so keep an eye out to see wether your suggestion from your list will be featured.

there would only be one winner, but on Friday, August 20, at 23:59:56, four
seconds before the end of the competition an e-mail came in from a Dutch guy.
He had not only tried to be the last entry, he had also chosen a theme. The
photographers he suggested all had something in common. Every photographer had
a reason to be in his list and with text he explained why they were chosen. For
all this effort we want to give him something too. So the unofficial
