Photographer #229: Albrecht Tübke

Albrecht Tübke, 1971, Germany, is a portrait photographer that also focuses on landscapes and objects. Most of his portraits are, whether taken of fashionable ladies in the streets of Italy, citizens of Europe and the US or the inhabitants of a small town called Dalliendorf, taken with the portrayed comletely in the frame, looking into the camera. His series Caves consists of portraits, objects, tins and landscapes. For more than a year Tübke went to the Marble Quarries in Carrara, Toscany. He was fascinated by the strange objects, the wonderful landscapes and the interesting people working there. Albrecht has exhibited extensively throughout the world.
